I found Dr Shanks to be a quality person. He checked my mouth and because of my bone loss is unable to help me. I do however appreciate his input. He answered all my questions with consideration & honesty. Even tho I will not be able to be his customer, he did not charge for the consultation & Xray. The office personnel are also very kind and considerate. Yes, I would recommend him to a friend.

AWESOME dental experience Dr. Shanks and Ms. Jennifer were wonderful and so were the ladies at the front desk. Everyone was so nice and friendly and helpful. I'm terrified of the dentist and my whole experience at Northside was wonderful. I would highly recommend Northside Family Dentistry to everyone. Honestly the best experience at the dentist that I have ever had and I have had ALOT of dental work. I am so glad my friend recommended them to me and will never go anywhere else again.

I was terrified on walking through the door. I had the most welcoming experience . I was treated compassionatly with all possible treatments explained to me. I underwent what I had under gone before as a painful procedure. I didn't even realize he was finished I was waiting for the extreme pain and that did not happen. My recovery was wonderful no days of pain and soreness it was a tenth of the discomfort I was used to from others. I will never go anyplace else for my care. Thank you

We were very pleasantly impressed with the quality of service, the organization, efficiency, atmosphere. All of the staff were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive including the Dr. of course. We were a little shocked at the cost of our visit though as it was considerably more than we expected and are accustomed to. I regrettably walked out without getting a better understanding of the breakdown of our charges or even a receipt. The procedure took the appropriate time and I did not need a crown! In order to clear up an infection at the base of the tooth, I thought that a crown was going to be required. Thankfully, due the Dr. Shanks skill, I did not need a crown. In fact, even I can not tell which tooth he worked on even looking in the mirror. AMAZING!

Great Experience! Really liked hygienist and received great care and good explanations on technical basis. She was very kind, gentle and professional. Dr. Shanks spent time introducing himself and getting to know me. Cannot say enough about professionalism, courteous and quality service.
