Plastic, retro, fun! I had always driven by when it was closed. The vibrant, whimical window displays always made me look. A few years ago, I finally made it in there and bought an inflatable bouncy horse for my nephew that he was totally tickled over. It was so retro and cute that my sister loves to keep it out in the livingroom as "art". Since then, I always try to make it back for a unique gift. It's not cheap though (why would they be?) so be prepared to spend a few bucks.

Looking for a unique present for someone or something really cool to brighten up your kitchen or a room. THis is the place. Very small store with a really small but cool collection of "plastic" things. Kitchen containers, Dish racks, kids toys, floormats, jewelry, strange odds and ends...ALL plastic. Some collectibles also available throughout store. You will find things here that are nowhere else.

When I walked into Plastica I knew I had found it. While they have a fairly limited selection of stuff a lot of it is pretty cool - a combination of local designers and stuff from around the world. In some respects it's not mu... read more
