We had such a wonderful time at the Planter's Inn. We celebrates our 20th anniversary there, and we were treated to complimentary champagne. The staff was so attentive and courteous. The Inn is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and wonderfully maintained. Because of its location downtown, we were able to walk almost everywhere that we wanted to go. There is lots of shopping, carriage tours, and amazing restaurants nearby. We can't wait to come back.
RecommendedA delightful well appointed hotel, located in the historic city Charleston. The rooms are clean & spacious. There is parlor on the left, as you enter. Lemonade, water, coffee & small snacks are offered. The employee's of the hotel are friendly & very helpful. There is a fabulous restaurant, (Peninsula) which is part of the hotel. Their food is top-notch. One of the best hotels that I've stayed at & hope to return again.

What a fabulous hotel. All of the details were beautiful - casual elegance. Delicious snacks and drinks provided in the lobby all day. Peninsula Grill was such a treat - coconut cake is a must with dinner so save room! Best of all -- the location is perfect. We felt like we were close to everything we wanted to do! Highly recommend!
