I have been to other stables in the Naperville area and for the life of me could not find a place I liked, until I came to PEC. Honestly its the best place!! They teach you all about your tack and the differences between Western and English. They explain to you what they are doing and why they are doing it, also what they want you to do and why... its a great learning experience!! This is the only stable in Naperville that trains you on Western if youre interested. I could gush about this place forever! I cant say enough goo... read more

I agree with all the other positive reviews. I started with Ken over 20 years ago. There is no better trainer for hunter/jumpers! You really learn to ride with him, which a rarity. Even though I moved out of town years ago, I still think of Ken and the stable as family and visit when I can. PEC is a place you go to learn to ride in a comfortable environment. If you are just looking for somewhere pretty this is not the place for you, but you wouldnt get the personal attention and great horse care as you would at Kens.

Oh my god...the barn is a dump on 3 small acres. It is dark and dirty and the arena is extremely small with stalls on one end. Poop is piled out the back door and an old rusty trailer sits on the side of the barn. It would be impossible for any sort of turn out since most of the acerage is barn or house.i would never board here

When I purchased my horse 20 years ago I could not ride him, he was to much horse for me. After several trainers and many falls I took him to Kens place and he is the one who taught my how to ride. He is one of the best horseman around. I would recommend him to anyone. He is the best.

I grew up in Naperville and started riding at NEC (you know, right before the horse killings broke... I remember Empire...) After I left NEC, I rode elsewhere for a year or so and finished out at Plantation until I left for college. Kens lessons were amazing- I learned to ride- really ride- on horses that were responsive, energetic and athletic- no push button ponies here! Ive been away from Naperville for 12 years now (still riding, and people still ask me where I learned to ride jumpers so well...) and every time I am visi... read more
