Do not rely on this planned parenthood. I called them after 3 years to make an appointment to get my nexplanon birth control implant removed and their immediate response was that it lasts for 7 years now. I am just now finding out that this was misinformation and I’ve been having unprotected sex for the last 2 years. (Apparently it expired after 5 years)
seriously some of the worst care i've ever had. rescheduled appointments less than half an hour before time, rescheduled for multiple months, leaving me w/o my medicine and solution given was to have me wait around the lobby the off chance someone would pity pick me. woman over the phone was extremely unpleasant as well and could not provide me information of any clinics that could accommodate.
Everyone here is so kind and professional. Very informative. Very patient and kind. They go above and beyond.
I went for hormone replacement therapy (testosterone) and all the staff was very respectful and sensitive with questions. My appointment for the prescription took about an hour and a half total, including the checking in process. They also offered to do STI and pregnancy screenings as well since I was already there, which I accepted. The biggest problem I think there is, is scheduling. I managed to snag an appointment a little over a month from my booking date, but there was only one available slot for HRT in the near future... read more
