I am so happy with this Planet Fitness location! The staff has always been incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the gym is consistently clean. I also love all of the new equipment! I walked through these doors 7 months ago with a lot of weight to lose, and I was honestly intimidated to get started again. Seven months later, I couldn’t be happier. Review edit - Was notified my review had over 20k views, so I wanted to update. What used to be my regular gym, no longer is. Due to negative interactions with staff, and patrons, I chose to end my membership with PF. (which was a headache). I truly enjoyed some of the amenities of the premium membership, the tanning beds had me feeling fantastic after a workout. I usually never leave bad reviews, but the manager that was working on 8/17 at around 1-2pm was incredibly rude. When i asked for help with checking in, he acted like it was the biggest inconvenience for him. I shrugged it off to maybe he was just having a bad moment, but then when I was done with my workout and asked for help with checking in for tanning, he made me feel like I was inconveniencing him again… Literally rolled his eyes and acted like he did not want to be there at all. Six months as a member here without a single word about my gym bag — then suddenly the same employee singles me out twice to move it, calling it a tripping hazard while it sat on the bench I was using. Meanwhile I counted 15 people with bigger bags that nobody touched. The policy isn’t enforced consistently; it’s enforced selectively .
