Terrible customer service & not professional whatsoever. We love the property that we’re renting but I wish we could rent from the owners instead of this company. Not only did we get the wrong lock code to move in & have to call a locksmith to get in because their office is closed on weekends, the lawn looked like it hasn’t been mowed in several weeks. They say they have a cleaning company but the floors turned our feet black before moving anything in, my paper towel from cleaning the counters with brown/black, tubs & toilet... read more

This company is absolutely horrible and brought a 10 day notice to me after paying on a lease purchase for 5 years. Said the house had been foreclosed on and their investor in California bought it. Took it to court with all proof of payments and they still got a judgment against me for double what rent would’ve been worth. Their lawyer is friends with the judge & we witnessed them going to lunch after our case was over. Not sure why this is being brought up after several years. We were not the home owners that she was paying her "payment" to. It is not our businesses fault that the owner of the property did not notify her that they were not paying the payment. Properties that go to foreclosure, the owner is notified numerous times, and notices are published in the legal sections of the newspaper, and also posted on the property. THEY USE TENANTS TO REDO HOUSES. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING IF YOU MOVE. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO CHOOSE A CONTRACTOR. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY. When we started the process of finding a rental Plaid was very helpful. But once we signed the lease they were very hard to get a hold of and took their time to get repairs made when needed. We were told in person and in writing to expect a full refund, then Plaid tried to hold us responsible for the cost of an entire house repainting among other little things. They changed and reduced the costs they claimed we owed three times, but it always totaled more than our damage deposit. We ended up taking them to small claims and getting a judgement in our favor.

They will charge you for everything even if you leave the house in perfect condition and will charge you for general repairs that should be covered by them. Don’t recommend at all stay away and rent from someone more reputable

I rented a house from them for 3 years and they always responded promptly to maintenance issues and took care of them completely. They always did exactly what they agreed to do and when i moved out, they were very clear about what had to be done. (very strict, but very clear). I have heard horror stories about other rental companies in the past and was skeptical but again, they did exactly what they agreed to do and didn't try to play any games. I highly recommend them as a company with integrity.
