there is nobody at front desk … who is here to help ? needed extra towels 12/27came down about 5 separate times staying with my mom and sister and nobody was present but i saw the same lady who checked me in later in the night in the building seemingly drunk or just loud so who do i ask for towels ? nice rooms staff seems to need help
Just stayed here for a conference located in DC. I read some reviews before booking and not all of them were accurate. Yes, the immediate location is not the best but it is DC. What do you expect? I was never approached or bothered while walking around the area and felt relatively safe. The room was very clean and large, although some surfaces could have been wiped down better before I checked in. For the price, I would stay here again next time I am in DC.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is great, the location leaves a little bit desired as the their are a few panhandlers around. I felt completely safe, but others may feel uncomfortable in the area.

OK, the reviews are super polarizing on this place, so I wanted to weigh in. First, Jordan and Jayson made my stay wonderful - very polite and professional staff. Yes, the immediate neighborhood is a bit rough. I'm a business traveler, and I had no issues walking around the hotel, and using a PIN to enter the lobby and get to my room. There are yuppie / trendy coffee shops and restaurants mere blocks away, so it is not much different that many DC neighborhoods.
