I was in downtown Silver Spring the other day and felt like I needed a little coffee for my afternoon. Pj's got some good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. I stopped in for a double espresso to go. The place itself is clean and looks nice enough. It wasn't too busy; it was a weekday. I would say that the service here is average. For a quick, light, Monday lunch, I stopped by PJ's. I expected the usual cafe fare of simple sandwiches. To my pleasant surprise, I found cubanos ($7.99) available, which I promptly ordered along with a large drip coffee ($3.15). I didn't plan on dessert, but the beignets ($4.15) convinced me otherwise.
