Drove 18 minutes to come to PJ'S to get some beignets and coffee Monday morning (6/2 @ 9:30am) just to find the place closed, even though the sign hanging from the railing in their patio, as well as Google and this locations IG page stating they're open.
Arrived an hour after they opened at about 7:05am on Monday morning. I tried to go through the drive through and sat there for a good 2 minutes before I attempted to go inside. Doors were locked, not sure if they are open anymore??
This was such a spur of the moment stop. I needed coffee and was going to another spot that was recommended, but they were closed. PJs coffee was the next nearest spot. Loved the purple and gold theme and the beads and masks they had set up for decorations. Very intriguing drink menu. You had your standard lattes and coffees, but there were some unique flavors as well. I wanted to try the wedding cake latte, but they were out of the mix. PJs has great coffee and tasty treats. I love that they continue to pay homage to New Orleans, they have beignets and seasonal king cake & merch that are in the spirit colors of TULANE! I love the art work with a little nod to Spring Branch. Plenty of seating. & A drive thru.
