This pizzeria has good pasta dishes – We visit Pizza Sam mostly on Fridays, the food is good, better than most italian restaurants I've been too. They give you big flavorful portions, I have tried the linguini with white clam sauce, chicken francaise and shrimp scampi. We also favor the combo heros, they are really yummy. We will keep going back.

Best Food Around For Miles – GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PRICES,GREAT PORTIONS; THIS IS MY TYPE OF RESTUARANT. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS ON THE MONEY AND MADE THE WAY IT SHOULD BE,I NEVER HAD TO COMPLAIN. No place like Pizza sam – Pizza Sam is a clean well rounded restaurant. Great for kids or adults .Sam Jr has maintained the true essence of Italian food and the serving is always enough to fill anyone up. There is such a variety of Italian food that this restaurant can gratify anyone?s craving. Every time I go I know that I can order anything from the menu and be more then satisfied. Best Pizza in town – Loved the food and atmosphere!!!!!!!!!! the owner and workers work great together. The pizza parlor was opened in the late 1960's by the current owner's father. Sammy Sr. had a reputation as a wonderdul kind hearted human being and he has passed his values on to his son Sammy Jr. The food is excellent. My husband and I stop for a quick bite whenever we are in the area

Simply The Best – The absolute best Pizza! This family style pizzeria always makes you feel right at home. The quality of the food is phenomenal, and the portions are enormous; there?s always enough to take home. Pizza Sam has a great atmosphere. Both customers and staff are friendly, and there is always a welcoming and vibrant vibe throughout the store. The owner, Sammy Jr., has a kind heart and is quick to befriend. With so many places to eat in Queens, I have to say this is one of my favorites.

Garbage and awful – Call the sanitation department and dump this food. I called the city to complain of the filth. Is anyone listening? The veal parm was tough and sandwich was soggy. Theres nothing like having a sandwich that drips grease. The service was lazy and slow. This place likes to deep fry using old and unhealthy grease.and has found a way to ruin Pizza. The pie was barely warm and had a funny smell. We think we saw them take it out of a box, maybe a return from a delivery. We complained, but that fell on deaf ears... read more

Pizza Parlor? Your kidding, right? – Talk about bad and greasy food. The spaghetti and meatballs had grease residue river slicks in the tomato sauce. Pizza, Pizza everywhere, but none you really want to eat. When I say everywhere, I mean eaten Pizza on the tables, floor, garlic powder, napkins and sticky soda stains. Price, forget about it. Service, another forget about it. Noisy and yelling, you can't forget about it, its there. How did they miss this place when they went after Taco Bell???

Ugh-ugh and more ugh!!! – I used to live in Jackson Heights and this WAS a great Pizza place. I was trying to think of what to say that reflected my recent experience - then I read the other reviews. The other people pretty much summed things up: disgusting, filthy, greasy food, pricey, terrible and RUDE service, food stained tables and floors. I could go on and on and on and on, blah-blah-blah. I now invite my friends in Jackson Heights to have Pizza with me in Manhattan. Hello Mom
