yum but hmm. – pizza is great, but owner guy is a bit of a jerk. even though i want a pizza i avoid going there because i dont even want to interact with him.
Meh. – My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza from Pizza Pi and picked it up. It was probably the worst pizza I've ever had. I wanted it to be good, but the pizza seemed lacking in toppings and not terribly visually appealing. It wasn't inedible, but I wouldn't order a pizza from there again. I'd like to think that there are good pizzas out there for people who don't eat meat or dairy, but I think you're better off making your own. Pizza Pi Rocks – After you eat a Pizza Pi calzone, you'll wonder why you used to eat all that artery-clogging animal fat, the kind found in the greasy calzones served at most places. The Hawaiian pizza is not to be missed.
The Only ALL-Vegan pizzaria EVER! – One day while sitting in Pizza Pi enjoying a delicious calzone I overheard the owner talking to a newspaper reporter about how it's the only all-vegan pizzaria in the entire world that he knows about. I recommend getting a calzone because the pizza is a tad bit dry just because vegan "meats" and "cheese" don't let out all those oils and fats that make a pizza moist. Woo! – Pizza Pi is Seattle's first (that I know of) all vegan, all the time pizza parlor. The owner talks on their website about his desire to see such a place in Seattle, and how he has now created it. And success seems to be his! You can choose from a great selection of veggies, tomatos, faux meats and cheese, and two sauces. They also have a gluten free crust for those of you who have wheat allergies.
