Came here for a hip injury, and Satchal helped me get back to full fitness right on schedule. I was working towards a half marathon, and Satchal always maintained I would be able to run it, and he was correct. Coming in 2x a week for several weeks, I got back to full fitness and now have a good range of exercises to ensure I can manage my hip pain moving forward. After running the wrong code for my estimate, this practice charged me twice what I was quoted. After talking to United Healthcare, and their billing department, I was instructed to connect directly with the location manager. After being initially apologetic and motivated to find a solution, the location manager eventually gave up and sent me back to billing without resolution. I have been coming to Pivot since 2017, but the administrative systems are so ludicrously bad I have to switch to another PT company. I went to the Dupont location for years. That location shut, and the only location that had appointments available for dry needling was Rosslyn. There were no dry needling appts for weeks and I was in intense pain by the time I was seen, only to be told upon driving out to VA that since I was a "new patient" I couldn't get dry needling on my first appointment, I could only get a consultation. ... read more
