I was having physical therapy at Pivot Physical Therapy @ L'Enfant plaza in 2021 and early 2022. When I moved away from DC in May 2022 I got a new Physical therapist and stopped going to Pivot. In 2023 Pivot started sending me invoices for dates of services that were not mine (June and July 2022). I have called them multiple times asking them to please correct their mistake and stop sending me invoices. They say they will investigate. I never hear back from them, until the next month when they send me the bill again.
The staff was first rate. I went in for what felt like a pretty serious right shoulder injury that I sustained in the gym. I could barely raise my arm at the time. Due to their scientific slow and steady approach beginning with range of motion and ending with strength restoration I was able to achieve full strength within 2 months without the need for surgery or an MRI. Michael Rios is a bright new star! He carefully diagnosed a never treated old hamstring injury, and listened closely to my needs. Michael chose Dry Needling and manual therapy. I now have more mobility in my knee joint and I am focused on training legs to strengthen around the knees instead of replacing the knees with expensive surgery. Michael is a smart gentleman with extremely high emotional intelligence. It is a pleasure working with him!
I received excellent service. all staff were responsive and listed to my concerns, The therapy has gone a long way in ensuring that I can live and thrive.
Part 1: Very nice PTs and lovely front desk staff. This is a convenient location and we've had a great experience here. Part 2: Laura the PT and Donna at the front desk are so good at what they do, and so kind, that I miss them now that my treatment is done. Though I hope I don't keep needing PT, if I do, I will keep coming back here for the lovely staff.
