I needed my engagement ring appraised for insurance purposes. Several other locations told me I may have to leave my ring with them for upwards of 10 days, which I was not interested in doing. When I contacted Tom from Pittsburgh Jewelry Appraisal Laboratory he told me he could do the appraisal right in front of me. During the appointment he was friendly yet professional, and explained everything he was doing and why. Best part was I received my appraisal the next day! Would absolutely recommend!

I had my engagement ring appraised by Tom for insurance purposes. He was friendly and professional. It was obvious he knew his business, he did the whole process in front of me and explained how the software he uses works. I was appreciative that he gave me a quote up front before we began. Even better is that you can set up your appointment by texting him (I hate talking on the phone), his website is informative, and his office is comfortable.
