Dont expect to get up to date responses to messages or any medical treatment. Multiple calls and app messages that when answered ask the same questions over in an endless loop of never getting the care you needed because no one reads previous messages on file!!! Also regardless of what imaging scans show for back injury you can expect to be in chronic pain and months of steroids but no relief for Pain at all for patient that has never had issues with abusing meds. Completely exhausted after months of this.
I recommend Dr. Richard Jones. He listens with patience and understanding of what you are going through.
No surprise this office has a 2 star rating. I had an appt cancelled the day before which I understand happens. Got it rescheduled. Came in 5 minutes early and signed in to the kiosk. Sat down in the waiting room for 25 minutes before they finally asked if I was here for an appt. I said I was and I had already checked in. A few minutes later she tells me that I checked in 20 minutes late and they will need to reschedule. I'm trying to become a new patient and I waited on hold to talk to someone for 45 minutes. FINALLY they say they can't take my call and hung up on me LMAO. I also tried to call another UPMC and the number I was given is NOT IN SERVICE. If this is any indication of how these places are ran I don't want any part of it.
I’ve been going to this location for about 4 years now and see Kate Will, a PA under Dr. Salim. Note that I’m someone with very very low tolerance for ineptitude - if I didn’t love this location and team I wouldn’t go back. I’m actually only reviewing because I was looking up the phone number and saw the negative reviews and have never had any of the experiences of the bad reviews.
