June 9, 2022 was my first appointment after not having been to the dentist in 4 years. And let me tell you, it was awesome right from the start. Andrea made me feel very much at ease during the exam and xrays. Dr Runco was great too. No guilt or shaming about lack of dental care. Turns out I've got to get dentures. Joni is all around the best hygienist I have ever had work on me. The care and time she spent getting my bite worked out saved me a root canal that my previous dentist said I needed. All that sensitivity was just a high spot left from previous work. Here I am, a year and 3rd cleaning later and no problems since. I am very thankful! Highly recommend Joni and the Pittsburgh Dental Spa to everyone!
I absolutely love Pittsburgh Dental Spa and so does my partner! We're willing to drive 45 minutes to its location because it is WORTH IT. Past trauma & extreme fear kept me out of the dentist's chair for most of my life, so even in my mid-20s, one can imagine my teeth weren't fairing well. Highly recommend! I had several things needing attention in my mouth, my fear of the dentist kept me away for entirely too long. Pittsburgh dental spa was literally the answer to my prayers! I have not had the best experiences with dentists in Pittsburgh since I moved here 17 years ago. I have tried a few, will obviously not name them because I am not in the business of bad mouthing. Today was my first appointment with them, I walked in very anxious, and almost immediately my anxiety was gone. They have not done anything yet, but I feel like this may be my “dental home” going forward. Every concern and question that I had were answered and thoroughly explained. Way to go team!

When I walked into the door it was an experience I never felt before at a dentist office.From the beautifully keep waiting room that seems to keep my mind off the real reason I'm there ,To The staff that are very kind and courteous and always willing to offer a helping hand.As far as the Dentistry? I don't believe there's a better doctor than Timothy Runco....So what do I recommend about the Pittsburgh Dental Spa? The answer is EVERYTHING!!!
