My husband and I went to Pittsburgh Blue for date night on August 30th. Our table/booth was very nice and private. For our appetizer we chose the Tuna Tartare; it was good but lacked seasoning. I ordered the Surf n Turf, and ordered the filet medium rare. The lobster was very rubbery and the outside of the filet was charred. For $61.95, I feel it was lacking something. Very good service, great Porterhouse steak perfectly cooked medium rare, nice atmosphere, great drinks and appetizers! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Made a reservation for a Friday night knowing it was busy. the hostess said she was bussing tables. I waited a few minutes for my husband showed up. My husband sat down next to me and we waited and they sat 2 couples down before us. My husband told me I should say something so I did. I asked why they got seated before us and she just looked at me like I was speaking another language. I told her right then and there were we leaving to eat somewhere else. This was for a special occasion. Way to go!
The best ribs I've ever eaten...Father's Day Brunch was awesome. No waiting, lots of good food choices. Very nice and attentive staff. The prime rib was just a little too rare for my husband's liking.
The first time we went here everything was great. We were excited to return and we're extremely disappointed. It took forever to get our appetizer. When our food came the steaks were not cooked the way we ordered them. Our waiter never returned to ask how everything was cooked. I ordered my steak medium and it was so dry that I had a hard time eating it. For the prices that we paid at this restaurant I would expect the highest quality of food and service. This was certainly not what we received. We will probably not return.
Amazing food! Our server, Riley (at the Maple Grove location) and the wait staff were great as well. Riley was informative on their menu selections, as it was our first time at Pittsburgh Blue. He also offered menu suggestions and was very attentive and personable. We will definitely be returning.
Ribeye is always amazing and the service is exceptional. We have never had a bad experience at Pittsburgh Blue!
We have enjoyed eating at Pittsburgh Blue since it opened but last night was quite possibly one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Our server, Dave (aka "Chris Stapleton"), was exceptional. You're doing yourself a disservice if you visit the Maple Grove location and don't specifically request him. Thanks for a great evening, Dave, and congratulations Chief Dean Kapler on your retirement!!
