So far he has been very helpful. It is hard to find an endocrinologist. I find his doctoring to be solid and he carries himself well. We are so blessed to have doctors like this that give up years in school and training to help others. I would challenge those that give him lower ratings, "What have you contributed to society?" Thanks Dr. Pittman.
My last 3appts was for a throid songram Dr wasn't there. Never done any diabetic exams such feet, or even take time to talk. If I ask about something that could be diabetes related I'm told I'll need to go to family Dr. Forgot me in a room for 2hours, he's always in a hurry . I don't feel he cares about his patients .
took my daughter there today, for a 2nd opinion for Addison disease, Dr. was very good at listening & talking to us about it he pulled all her records up from every thing that shes had done from the other dr & Er visits,, doing test for her to see if she really has this he seems to think she does not have this hope hes right, he seems to no what hes talking about, his nurse was very nice & we only had to wait in the waiting room less than 10 min, so far was very pleased
He is patient kind & caring. He listens to the patient & gives you time to explain. He is excellent at getting answers to difficult situations.
Dr. Pittman has a calming nature about him. He is a good listener and determined to help his patients figure out how to feel better. His staff was helpful, patient and kind.
He bragged about his education and knowledge. Very narcissistic and arrogant. He thinks that knowledge equates with skill and ability to apply in patient care . What a looser.
Have never seen him only his NP. Went in with thyroid problems, took 6 months just to get a scan and had the biopsy done last Friday. Refused to give me mh results The office staff is HORRIBLE! Rude as can be. You would think you were asking for the moon if you call with a question. Absolutely will never reccommend this office.
I saw him on and off for a couple years. He pushed me to get an insulin pump for my type 2 diabetes, which was expensive. Then I was pushed into the blood sugar monitor, which didn't work for me. If you want to clear out an entire day for an appointment, go here. The wait is ridiculous. The appointment takes 5-10 min, and I've never been there less than 2 hours. I have a new doctor, who put me on diabetes pills, and I'm managing fine.
I have spent more time in his waiting room than every doctor I've ever seen. My first visit (I've been there 3 times now) I was forced to wait 2 and a half hours! No apology for the waits and never an explanation... I was the only person in the waiting room. The second visit, I waited over an hour, and the third over 45 minutes. Each time the doctor was in the room less than 5 minutes, paid more attention to his iPad than me and consistantly got my medical history wrong. Avoid him!!
