Dr. Trost and his team are the best! He doesn't try to sell you every test available because you will do this for your pet. He takes a practical approach to caring for your best friend. He will also refer you on to a specialist when he feels that your pet needs help beyond his scope of practice. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you to the entire Pittman Animal Hospital team for the last 16 plus years of caring for my fur babies!

They are such great people and are so kind when it comes to your pets lives! Everyone in the office helps in many ways! They've helped my family, I can't even count how many times!! If you go to any other vet their prices are outrageous, but if you go to Dr.Trosts he has such reasonable prices!! They are the best vets I've ever known! I was in yesterday to get my dog's yearly shots, because one day I will be a responsible adult & get it done before Omaha's pet licensing deadline, but yesterday was not that day :-). I called & the lady I spoke with told me I could bring her in from 8am-10am. I made it in at 9:30, & found I wasn't the only procrastinator in town. Have been going to Dr Trost at Pittman for man uhh years now. Great service and great employees. Was there the other day b/c I had to have my dog put to sleep and they were so great to us. They had us go back to the room so we could have privacy and say our goodbyes and let us have all the time we needed after.
This place is wonderful if you like incredibly rude receptionist that give you an attitude for no reason. Not to mention our dog was left on the cold floor for 2 days there. Haven't been back since. Don't recommend if you care for your pets or like pleasant people. Oh, not to mention she hung up on me as well.
