as good as it gets – los angeles has a lot of pizza problems but this place is definitely a top ten if it comes to pizza! the pasta isn't as good as pizza though. their cupcake desserts are amazing, i am not sure where they come from. all the pizzas are delicious, all baked in the brick oven in the restaurant. their fresh ingredients and the oven are the secret to the one of la's best pizza! this place rocks and so do their prices
Beautiful Service, Welcoming Environment, and Quality Pizza. – Best if you go there and try it out rather than ordering it online since it loses its flavor by the time it gets delivered to your home within an hour or so. Pizzas are pretty thin and pricey like CPK's, yet taste far better with quality toppings and just the right texture. If you don't mind the price for the quality and environment there rather than quantity, then give it a try. If you do mind about the quantity and price, look elsewhere.
Going downhill it seems – I live downtown and have been coming here on occasion since it opened. Last night was indeed the last night for me. There were tables that needed cleaning that sat uncleaned for most of the time I was there. The help seemed apathetic and half-asleep. They have remained out of their premium draft beer for over a week. In the past they have run out of glassware and have served beer in plastic cups. The food was amazing! – The food at the Pitfire is so good. Think about trying their Calzones stuffed with cheese and spinach with a side of their ceaser salad. Great atmosphere and great location.
Affordable, Fresh, Yummy Pizza! – Today was my first visit to Pitfire Pizza Company in downtown LA. After reading all the great reviews I was very excited and hungry for pizza! Parking was a bit of a dilemma as the nearby construction took most of the street parking and the parking lots were atrociously expensive (e.g., $7 - 9 to park). Best in L.A – This is the best place to go , if in the mood for pizza.The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. It didn't take too long. I highly reccommend it to anyone.
Great rustic stone fired crust; Unusual but very tasty toppings! – Wonderful flavors for unusual combinations! Don't underestimate the vegetarian- piled high, it is insanely good!
