Pizzas, salads and soups – My real rating would hover around a 3.7. I like this place, it's clean bright, cheery and a perfect place for a lunch break downtown. Parking can be a bit of a pain at times, but the quick service here makes up for it. I always order the same this here the BBQ Salad hold the chicken and cheese which they serve with a piece of fresh baked focaccia that's pretty darn good. The Tuscan bean soup here is tasty too. I also hear that the pizza's are very good. It's a solid place, nothing out of this world... read more

So glad we can keep you happy! Venutre out, try some of our other offerings, we'll make your pizza cheeseless if you prefer even!
hit or miss – Hit or miss. We occasionally order from Pitfire and it's off and on. Tonight we ordered a pizza and added extra ingredients. There were four olives to spots with cheese and basically we received bread with red sauce on it... for 11 bucks. Pasta is great, then arrives cold. Sometimes the order is full, other times it's 1/2 the size. There needs to be some SERIOUS management and food policy changes. This is literally the umpteenth time they have given us a totally deranged order from what we could get from Pizza ... read more
great pizza – one of the best pizza joints in all of la.
Business response:
So glad you think so! Our Fall specials are now being served...who can resist Pumkin pizza? Give it a try!
Good Pizza – Like the location and the pizza is consistent...
Good Experience – I appreciate and applaud the efficiency of the delivery service. I also was a huge fan of the fresh arrugula, which is a rare ingredient in the pizza world, being placed on the pizza after it was cooked. This was a pleasant experience, though I have had better. I certainly would and will go back.
My favorite pizza – The best pizza I have found on the West Coast. The ingredients are always fresh and they use an authentic brick oven - yes it does make a difference. Once you try them, you'll definitely be back for more :-) Also try the jumbo chocolate cookie - mmmmm!
Good lunch spot w/ co-workers or for a large group – My co-workers and I would go to Pitfire at least once a week. It's quick...you order at the counter and then seat yourself. My favorite lunch dishes are: -Tuna Panini -BBQ Chicken Salad...no longer on the menu =( They also have a stamp card (I believe you buy 10 items and then get 1 free) & also have a KCRW discount.
Went from Best Place to Worst – Wow, I have been a loyal customer here for 2 years now. My wife and i used to go 3-4 times a week. They had the best panini sandwich and bbq chicken salad we could have ever asked for. Up until they changed their menu recently... Its just not the same place. They use cheaper ingrediance now, the chicken panini sandwich is different, they completley stripped the bbq chicken salad from the menu. But increased the number of pasta dishes... which is a sign of declining quality. Pitfire Co. PLEASE ... read more
For Italian lovers – I'm all about Italian and Japanese food. I'd be perfectly fine with going to Pitfire Pizza one day and sushi restaurant the next. The pasta and pizza are unbelievable. Check it out!
