In regards to the last review. The slab was on back order which the customer was aware of. The one they picked was never sold. The job was not complete because the customer DID NOT have the faucet...therefore we couldn't drill the holes and complete the job. It was not our fault it couldn't be completed. They were aware we were coming to install the job for weeks and still did not have their faucet when we came. Horrible Customer Service! We recently purchased a quartz slab for our basement kitchen and all went well until we paid our half down deposit. We waited 2 months for installation and were told it would be 1. When we called, we were told that our slab was sold to another party. Eventually when the slab was installed, full payment was demanded despite the fact that the job was not complete (needed to come back and drill holes for the faucet). I had Pitell Granite do my kitchen and their work is fabulous!! The quality of the work was beautiful, the workers are very professional and clean up after themselves, and the lady that works in the office is an absolute joy to work with!! I have been wanting to redo my kitchen for years but had my hesitations with other granite shops I have spoken to, but Pitell Granite made this a smooth, wonderful process for me!! Thanks for my dream kitchen!! Definitely would recommend these people!!

Horrible experience. Don't ever order ANYTHING from this place. Both the owner and his son are rude. They came to our house to make a template for our counter and when the piece arrived it did not fit. And by arrived I mean -- we had to pick it up ourselves because they never delivered it after they lost our contact information. They won't be getting our business when we refinish our kitchen!

Pittell Granite did an,outstanding job from start to finish in installing granite countertops. They showed a high level of care and concern. It is truly a family business, and they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend their services. They exceeded our expectations in every phase of the project. Since then we have sent others their way, and they express the same sentiments.

Horrible customer service – I recently purchased granite countertops from Pitell Granite in Pgh. I will tell you that the customer service I received from the owner was horrible. It all started out well and why not as we paid half down. Things started to go down hill after the check cleared. We asked to see what the cutouts of our counter would like on the granite before he actually cut it. We showed up to see the outlines and there were not only no markings outlined but the granite wasn't even pulled from the parking lot. H... read more
