This is my third time at this location. The first was great. The second, the meat (Philly) was full of gristle. So tonight I tried something with chicken. Equally as bad. Pieces of cartilage and chewy chicken skin. I hate it because everything else about the sandwich I love. I suppose I could order one with just veggies, but in all honesty, I probably won't be back.

The lady was so very helpful @ the Pita Pit on Republic Rd.( She had on a black shirt , if that matters) She was so patient with me & I loved my pita. She suggested the Chicken Ceaser & it was delicious. Love their chicken. Would highly recommend. Would suggest Pita Pit over Subway any day .
First time at Pita Pit today for lunch,fresh food,falafel and the black bean were awesome.This is a must eat place in Springfield,the staff is awesome.They are very friendly and customer service is great.Excellent fresh food and excellent staff.
too costly for what you get! Sorry first time last time
From all the gyro places I've been to, I must admit this one is not my favorite. They've done nothing wrong as far as preparation or service, but I found the meat portions to be very small for a much higher price than most places. I was particularly unimpressed with the "Steak-ums" style gyro meat. They made it right and filled it appropriately with toppings, but just very skimpy for the price was all.
So good and a good price. Love going there. The whole family eats it up.
A whole new experience in eating out. Maybe a 'fast food' type place but all pitas. No greasy hamburgers, no undercooked french fries, just great salads and any type pita you could ask for. More food for the buck in either the large or regular size and 'man' they taste great.
