Pisgah Roofing put a roof on our house for a builder and 4.5 years later we have leaks in three separate areas. Another roofing company came out and has pointed out 4 issues from installation. These are not issues from "others doing work on the house after the roof was installed", but underneath and installed incorrectly. The company will not come out to check if they have done anything improperly. They will come out and give me an estimate to fix my issues. They won't come out to see if their work is problematic. This is not our customer. We did the roof install for the original builder of the house over 4 years ago and it passed all inspections for our customer, the builder. I asked this person to provide other companys findings and issues and she could not provide answer nor evidence.
Absolutely the worst experience since owning a home. You can expect no communication and paying an exaggerated amount over what the quote is. Read the fine print of the quote. From my experience, from other reviews I have read about this company online, through the Better Business Bureau, and from other discussions with locals in the area, you can expect to pay $2000 to $5000 over what the quote will be with no proof of work. Pisgah Roofing met me for our appointment. ********* came out. Suppose to get estimate for siding replacement and/or repair in 3 days from 6/13. Today is 8/2 and no estimate. Have been in touch with owner **** numerous times after his nice long response to my complaint saying an estimate would be sent 7/15 and still no estimate. This seems to happen a lot with "no reponse from company" from the reviews. Will move on and will not recommend as have two condo associations looking for estimates in our neighborhood.

My husband and I purchased a mobile home in 2021, in **************, **. One thing that attracted ** to the purchase a new roof had been placed atop the home. ** 2023, we had a bad rain fall, & it leaked from the ceiling in hall bathroom, around the ceiling fan. Called this company. Friendly, reasonable quote (it was the middle of 3). Told it would be a 3-4 day job. They started mid-February 2022. It is now April 29th and the work is still not 100% complete. The heavy work of taking off and replacing the roof was done within a couple weeks but the crew had no English speaking members and there was poor communication. When they wanted to borrow a broom (I guess Pisgah forgot to put that on the truck) they used a phone translator. The siding (hardy plank) was chewed up terribly. They ... read more
Started off friendly but then rep ***** wouldn't respond without several calls/emails being made to get a response for estimate. Receptionist ***** was always very sweet. Finally a new rep assigned, ******* who finally produced estimate and pictures, thank you *******. Unfortunately due to numerous attempts in the beginning both parties agreed not to use this company. Highly recommend Southern Star. Very prompt, same day estimate, financing, professional and quick service.
The owner and crew were very professional. I contacted them to correct improper flashing installed by another roofing company. They installed kick-out flashing between the gutter and the chimney. It took me hours and many telephone calls to get someone to install a proper fix. I'm so glad I don't have rainwater running down the side of the chimney and soaking my foundation anymore.
We're new to WNC, so didn't have the name of a roofer: my wife picked Pisgah because they could immediately come look at the problem, which was a small leak in the flashing around the chimney box. I am a retired licensed general building contractor and have decades of roof work, so I'm familiar with this problem, what takes to fix it, and what that repair should cost. We called to schedule this appointment on a Tuesday morning and was told by Mrs. ******** that they already had a roofer coming out to solve the problem but thanks for the call. Mrs. ******** called back later that evening in a panic that their roofer did not show and that they had a major chimney leak and hurricane rains were in the forecast could we please come take a look and provide an estimate.
