So disappointed that a special trip for dinner was ruined by our experience last evening. The dining room was not busy, yet we waited ten minutes after seating to be greeted by our server. (The hostess was unable to take our order.) We waited an additional 45 minutes for the one topping large pizza, that never arrived. Recommendedol school thin crust very good but costy good spot to take the family for a good pizza
The food here is delicious. We got pizza and a salad. Our salad, we ordered the small, was big enough two people split it. It had a lot of cheese in it, which I loved. The pizza did take awhile to cook, but was worth the wait. There were lots of toppings and the cheese mix on the pizza was excellent. The crust was thin, but crispy. This is not a fancy restaurant, but instead a nice casual family atmosphere. I’ve eaten here many times and ordered pasta dishes here, which are also delicious.
I’ve been going to Pirrones for about 20 years. I don’t get to enjoy it often any longer. But when I do, it it’s nostalgic. Personally I think it is the best pizza in the Saint Louis area. And the salads are phenomenal. lol ok’ing forward to my next visit.
