My husband and I visited John’s Pass recently, and were attracted to the offerings posted outside of Pirate’s Pub and Grub. We went in, & were very pleased with the food, drinks, & friendly service from the bartender/owner & her staff. Friends were visiting from out of state this weekend, & we knew exactly where we wanted to take them for lunch! We met friends from from Indiana and went there for the first time. The food was delivered fast, actually before our appetizer, but all of the food was fresh and very good. We will definitely be back.
Liked the pub, small but nice, also liked all the decorations of pirates and skeletons. I recommend to anybody.

One of our favorite stops when we visit from Tampa. The food is always fresh and well prepared, the beer is cold and they offer a lot of varieties, and the waitresses are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We usually travel with a small service dog and that is also a hassle free experience. Highly recommended over the pricy commercial restaurants.
Last year we ate here every day for our timeshare week, either lunch or dinner. Food was delicious, staff friendly, service great. We were there last night and were very disappointed. Portions very small, fries cold, service terrible. What happened? New owner, new cook?
