We were there for dinner last night. The food was awesome.. I had the Tilapia. Our waitress was great and took good care of us and shared a couple ghost stories. We didn't see a ghost but the food is worth going back for.
I would definately recommend The Pirate House! Service was good, food was great, portion for the seafood platter was great, one of the best fried green tomato apps, I've had! Salted Carmel cheesecake was fabulous, and there is the rum. As an added bonus, prices were appropriate! Would probably become a regular if I lived in the area!
I took my son here and we had a wonderful time. The She Crab soup is divine! Our waiter was very pleasant and patient with my indecisive five year old. The cherry on top was the tour we got after we ate. One of the "Pirates Crew" came by our table and my son asked for a tour. She was happy to do so and we had a wonderful time learning the history of the building and of Savannah. Prices are not egregious, but seafood anywhere is pricey anymore. We will definitely be back!!
I am a Savannah girl and have had MANY AMAZING holiday buffets at Pirates House....Thanksgiving....Easter..etc...I was TRULY DISAPPOINTED this year...I understand there is a new chef.....my overwhelming desire for this year's THANKSGIVING BUFFET was ruined....NO SQUASH CASSEROLE....NO RED RICE....NO GREEN BEANS.....I need this NEW chef to step up his game and get on board with the TRADITIONS that make the Pirates House a DELICACY
My family enjoyed the absolute best Thanksgiving Feast at The Pirates House this year! The spread was amazing! I've always enjoyed dining here but Wow wow wow! We will absolutely make our reservation for 2017! I'll be in for next week for the lunch buffet which is always devine. Kudos
My family and I were there for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was really good prime rib was excellent, turkey was really good mac n cheese on point. Nice variety of sides and salads. Stuffing not so good but overall we enjoyed ourselves. Sible was a great server very friendly and good personality
Thanksgiving day meal is outstanding. I will be coming back.
Whenever we go to Savannah, we eat at The Pirate's House. Everytime we go, we learn something new about the history of the building. The pirates going table to table are entertaining. The Shrimp Alfredo and Slick Chick are our favorites! Love the service we receive each time. A must have is their Chatham Artillery Punch! It's the best.
Food was delicious (great portion sizes too). Our service was a little slow but we werent in no rush so it wasnt too much of a big deal.
