The staff was great. Our waiter was fantastic. The food was AWFUL! There were 4 of us and only one person liked their food and he had a salad. The rest of us didn't even finish our lunch. Also the room we ate in was FREEZING. Cool atmosphere but I would go in and look around then leave. Skip their nasty food.
Wonderful experience!! We had the fried chicken and the fried shrimp, so delicious!! Great service and we were happy to get a seat without a reservation (8:30 Wednesday night) near the window during a great lightning storm too;) Really enjoyed wandering the house, and got a fabulous informative tour of the house from the pirate too! Much more than we bargained for:) also picked up a great book on local lore in the gift shoppe.
Crab cake was poor, fried chicken was great. Neat place to see .
We own a restaurant and know great food!! The buffet never disappoints! The food is well seasoned and fresh! Very friendly staff! We always eat here when we're in town!
Great portion sizes but we shouldn't have to de-vein shrimp when we pay $24 for a plate of shrimp and scampi. The catfish had zero flavor. Save your money and let the tourists eat there.
