Pirateland is just what I remember from my childhood. Fun family camping atmosphere! There os so mich for the kids to do that you never have to leave the campground. My daughter's favorite part is the golf cart parade every night.
First visited Pirateland in 1999 . Now it's a Family and Friends yearly tradition . What started out with 4 of us has grown to as many as 20 to 30 of us . Have made many friends there that vacation the same week we do. Our home away from home . Love the golf cart parade a night . Highly recommend Pirateland
7/10/2015: Love it here. Fun family atmosphere...everyone is so friendly! Hated the constant playing of 80's music (same songs over and over) in the pool area, but you eventually tune it out. A variety of music would have been nice. The lazy river is one of the best around. The pool was never overly crowded, even during the 4th of July weekend. Yes we have stayed the last couple summer and been very happy with our campsites
Its strange to me to see the negative feedback. we have been going to pirateland for 8 years and LOVE it. We have never had a problem. Its a shame others had had bad experiences! we stay right along the beach and its paradise. the staff has always been nice, beach beatuiful and the park clean. we are going back next week and I cant wait!
Best campground in Myrtle Beach!
We love Pirateland! This summer will make our 10th trip! Wouldn't camp anywhere else.
My husband, me, and our two kids had an AMAZING time at Pirateland this weekend!! This is our third visit and we will definitely be back!!
