Great location. Great services such as 24 hour security, garbage pickup, cable tv and of course the beach within a minutes walk We love it so much we alreafy booked next years trip
the sites are big ,and plentiful,not far to the ocean Beach,showers could be more hotter,great pool ,rec room store,,,could update phone system , should have inter action with camp guest and not going through the 800 phone number all and all I'd recommend this place.
This place has become a family favorite! so much to do, and easy access to the beautiful beach! worth the 6 hour drive.
We have stayed at Pirateland before in our previous rig, but the customer service of booking this trip is what lead me to the review. The person we talked to while booking was tremendous. He made me laugh, he made me feel like I was wanted there, and he made me feel like I was getting a great deal! THEN tonight at almost 9 pm, I commented on a picture asking for more information about an event and within 5 minutes I had a reply in my inbox...on a weeknight, in the off-season, after hours. Camp Ground is ok little bit run down but still ok. Like Lakewood next door better. Would come back if no other options available.
Love the pools. Bathrooms are great. beach access is fantastic. Lots of things too do.
