I am in love with this place! Ask for Pablo. If you are nice he will make you a special roll that is out of this world!!!
The sushi was fine, nothing spectacular. My wife got the grilled baby octopus which not unlike chewing on a 50 cent steak. As an added bonus, we received a part of the bag the greens came in on the plate. Overall, not the greatest but not the worst.
Visiting from out of town, our waiter was friendly, and gave us suggestiPbs, the rolls were so-so and the environment was dark and not very inviting and the tables were not bussed. I would not eat there again.
I'm from out of town, this was my second visit. Great wait staff and excellent food. Highly recommended for Sushi and Hibachi. Definitely on my list when I return to Austin!
Rolls are sloppily made and I could smell a very fishy odor from all my sushi and rolls. I got a snow crab roll and the tempura was actually a breading like you’d find on a fish stick. Totally gross! Too much mayo on everything that came with mayo. I wish I hadn’t spent $80 on food here and I wish I hadn’t brought my mom here for a special dinner. We were both disappointed and now we feel sort of gross, like after a fast food meal. Never again.
Popped in for a quick dinner, after Comic Con, and prior to walking back to our condo. We have been hear a couple of time before and Piranha always delivers. Great food and staff!
