my dog was treated by dr Doug for six years, loved him! went in yesterday and when I refused to buy more products that I had bought before from dr Brenna and knew that they didnt work, was told she would not treat my dog if I didnt buy them! Guess she doesnt know there are other vets around

While we understand your frustration, in some cases, pairing multiple types of medication is necessary to resolve a problem. We will not prescribe any medication if we feel it may be harmful to your pet, and at times doing one without the other may be harmful. I recently brought my sweet Mame to Pipestone as she was sick and it was her time to be free of pain. Having to end her life was one of the saddest decisions I have had to make in years. The staff was sympathetic, kind, helpful, professional and most of all respectful of our unfortunate situation . They have provided expert care for our pets in the past and will do so in the future. Bella had a rough day yesterday, she had a large fatty tumor removed from her side and her teeth cleaned. She is sore but doing good. Everything went good thanks to the people at Pipestone Veterinarian in Independence. It was my first time there and I was very happy with everything. It was worth the drive.
