Specialties Welcome to Pioneers Park Nature Center... 668 acres of tallgrass prairie, woodlands, wetlands and the Haines Branch stream. Since 1963 the Nature Center has served the Lincoln area as an environmental education center and wildlife sanctuary. We absolutely love going there. So beautiful and peaceful. We have spent days on end out there. Nothing better in Nebraska. Only thing I wish is that the trail gates were open later. But other then that it's simply amazing!!!
