I just left Pioneer GI and can not say how wonderful this office is. From the front desk, MA, Stephana Iacob-TownsendPA-C. I had a bad experience with another GI doctor, and this office was a breath of fresh air. I really felt taken care of and understood. I am so happy I found them. PA Stephana took time to make sure I understood all of the procedures and even procedures that might not happen, but I still needed to know about. Excellent service, compassionate providers. 5 stars over all.
Not very happy with the bill I got here. I guess the people were nice but I saw them for literally 20 minutes and I got a $500 bill in the mail. For what?! A "consultation" where their doctor told me the exact same thing my primary care did except with them it cost $500! Absolute nonsense! What kind of 20 minutes service cost $500!? I will pay but I will definitely avoid coming here again
Dr Ambasht was awesome. However he's gone now. Saw a dr Ordonez, didn't feel we communicated well so tried again; Dr Rojas was great I arranged specifically to have her do my proceedures. SURPRISE got to surgery and Ordonez, was there! So I tried to discuss my concern again (severe pain following procedure) and he told me it's a non issue. Tempted to leave, I stayed and followed through. Upon completion of procedures I again faced severe pain. Very professional service and staff, colonoscopy went perfectly and was super easy. Dr Ordonez is absolutely phenomenal to work with and every one I met from the clinic, to the surgery center was wonderful. Highly recommend them.
My previous GI doctor passed away, so I came to Pioneer GI, hoping for a good experience. First and very important, the office staff and medical assistant were so helpful, welcoming , professional, and kind. Stefana Iacob-Townsend, one if the PAs, took my history and she took the time to get a detailed history and make sure she understood my concerns. She was very empathetic and knowledgeable.
