Just received the accelerator cable for a 1971 VW Bus. It's nothing like the OE part. This isn't even a cable (twisted strands of wire). Instead, it's a solid wire. This is unacceptable. This is unsafe. The person in quality control needs to be fired.
Bought an accelerator cable through Rock Auto for my 1985 Toyota. Terrible product. Cable did not move nicely in the casing at all. Spent much time lubing the cable myself. Oversized rubber washer for no reason where the cable goes through firewall, making the factory bolts too short. Had to cut apart the rubber washer on a brand new product. Then went to tighten the nuts at the throttle body adjustment and they were a different size than factory. Instead of the 12mm, they randomly switched it to SAE 7/16s. Not very handy wh... read more
