foods is delicious, customer service not very cheerful. you don't get the welcome you would @ a regular Starbucks.I've been coming here for over a year and very rarely they speak, interesting.. the owner will look you dead in the face and say nothing.

Pinwheel did my wedding cake with just 2 weeks' notice (my wedding cake plans fell through at the last minute), so I didn't have time to taste or meet with the cake-maker. I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw it- it was better than I even imagined! And it was delicious to boot.

My favorites are the vegan cookies (and I'm not vegan), the apple spice and blueberry muffins - super moist and fresh every day, the lemon tarts are a perfect balance of tart and sweet, and the shortbread cookies by the pound are delicious. And they have bumpy cakes too! And the lattes are made to perfection. On saturdays they make fresh pull apart cinnamon brioche. They have yummy sandwiches too, if you're not into sweets. Ferndale's best kept secret!
