I've never been to Jamaica but who needs to when its right downtown Manchester. The jerk chicken dinner is HOT!! And i just want to keep eating through the burn (just what you want for jerk, you can always get it on the side). You need to try the oxtail, its crazy good. Perfectly braised every time and the fatty collagen/ delicious meat ratio is amazing The bar staff is great, they look like they must have fun behind the bar because everyone is laughing and getting along. If I could give 0 stars I would. Such a disappointment. The worst “Jamaican” food I’ve tasted. The oxtail I ordered, which was 98% bones, was sitting in water (what was supposed to be gravy) and the plantains were so undercooked. If you don’t know how to properly prepare a Jamaican dish, please don’t. Not worth the $20+ and certainly won’t be ordering here again.
First time... It was amazing!!! Jamaican food just like dad used to make. So yummy, everthing came out HOT and fresh. We will definitely be back soon!
We had to order 3 beers until we got one in stock. Medium rare burger came out rare. Hand cut sweet potato fries were overly processed, not hand cut. Waitress was lovely, tried hard to accommodate and was very pleasant throughout. If you like screaming over too loud t.v.s along with deep fat fried food, this might be for you. Doubtful we will return.
