I have been goin to Dr.Pinsky’s office since I was young. In the beginning my experiences have not been that bad, however, the past two experiences have been ABSOLUTELY horrifying. I would not wish an experience that horrid on anyone. When I was around 17 years old, I received a root canal and all I was aware of was a regularly scheduled checkup. Evaluation and treatment plan for front tooth crown and root canal. Very calming manner and very thorough. Accepted my discount dental plan and a good price for all the work I needed to have done. Staff was very cordial and accommodating--even sent a welcome letter. Dentist offered flexibility in being able to do both the root canal and crown the same day. I would recommend this dentist (he is a member of the GDA and ADA and Hinsman Dental Society) to anyone seeking quality care at a competitive price.
dr pinsky is a great dentist. but be forewarned: don't be late. the front office staff are scolding and patronizing. it is not a good place for moms with small children, or for anyone whose schedule tends to vary at the last minute.
I went to Dr. Pinsky on a friend's recommendation because he accepts certain dental insurance, including that of my employer, as full payment even when some of the claim as filed is denied by the insurer. I was initially very pleased with my decision. He took me on short notice as a first time patient for dental pain and I ended up needing a root canal -- my first, and it was not nearly as bad as I had feared it would be. The staff at Dr. Pinsky's office are pleasant and friendly. Dr Pinky has a wonderful "chairside" manner!
A few things I didn't like about Dr. Pinsky was that he was unfriendly and impatient. He didn't seem to be a caring dentist. I felt he just wanted to get his patients in and out as soon as possible. Actually out of all the dentist I have been to, he was the worst I ever experienced physically. I didn't like the fact that when he injected numbing medication he didn't wait for it to kick in. When he started to drill my tooth, he asked if it still hurts, when I said yes, he gave me a second dosage which completely numbed the en... read more
Fabulous! I had to have a root canal and crown and both were painless. (Unlike other procedures I've had with other dentists in the Atlanta area.) He is great and so are his assistants.
