I've almost never painted before, and Amy did such a great job of explaining everything step by step and I ended up with a decent painting!
The instructor, location, and bar were all 10/10. I'm comically bad at painting but even I was able to leave with something I'm proud of. Ample and cheap parking is available just a block north. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. However, our trip was somewhat ruined by a birthday party of drunk girls who felt that they needed to scream so loud that we could hardly hear our instructor. We have been to Pinots palette many times over the years and have always had a wonderful experience. Great environment, supplies, and artist teachers. Today we did a more complex picture of an ocean/beach that definitely requires a lot of direction especially to non artists. Although our instructor Kat was very pleasant and very clearly good at art, we felt like the instruction that went along wasn’t the strongest.
