Me & wife hit it during lunch hour ordered off the dinner menu I got the Trail Boss Steak that was my breakfast so GOOD good service good atmosphere �
RecommendedI grew up in this place. This was our steakhouse. The years have brought change but, maybe the true spirit of the place will one day return. Keeping up with the demands of this world will ruin a good restaurant. The quality and service is not what it used to be of course. It's a new generation. But to the owners and staff, keep up the fight. Don't give up. Look into the history of the business, learn about the ones who started it, find out what there passion was, let it become your passion. We ate there last night for my birthday! Let me say, we were pleasantly surprised that the steaks were outstanding. The grilled corn was to perfection and the baked potato along with the beans were good. We had ate there in August and it was a different story as it had seemed that somethings were not as good as they usually were. We thought maybe they had hired different cooks. We ate at this location for the first time with some work colleagues. Normally, my husband and I visit the San Dimas location and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is definitely larger, but the service is lacking. My meal personally was delicious, but 2 of the others we dined with had to return their order. One was way undercooked, and the other had specific instructions to not put any butter on the shrimp due to an allergy. It was brought to the table with butter and also rice with butter. Everything was good and it was fun. All but the bread pudding. We like blue berries and we like bread pudding. They just don't go together. So, it just isn't good.
