I noticed therapists weren’t knowledgeable, but appeared to be very condescending, if a patient spoke, they will quietly just stare as though that was the most bizarre thing they ever heard. I felt therapists were insecure and jealous to give off their best. Stay away if you’re doing fine, they’ve no respect for their patients, and are very defensive but claim they are still learning.

My experience at Pinnacle Behavioral Health was undermined by therapists’ judgmental behavior and facial expressions, (dirty looks from Liana), making it difficult to trust the staff or feel safe seeking support. Patients seeking mental health care deserve kindness, dignity, and professionalism.

after several months of being in this program it really did change my life. make sure to write notes on the skills and advice you get, and practice the skills even when you are doing fine to build habits. i have a hard time with authority figures but the staff are AMAZING and so patient. i made a point of having discussions, trying the advice and repeating and i feel like years of work happened in only a few months. this program worked wonders for me and i highly recommend.

they literally kicked me out because "nobody can relate to me" for being in rehab and having a substance use disorder. they did this by email btw. absolutely unprofessional, very judgmental and biased. i have done IOPs for a long time now and this is absolutely the worst.
