I booked what was supposed to be a 50-minute service, but it turned into an exhausting 2 hour ordeal. The nail technician I was assigned, Poonam, did not seem confident or skilled. Instead of properly using nippers, she kept going over the same areas with the electric drill, leaving my nails and skin far from clean. Cuticles jagged, nails were not even straight. Very thick gel polish that took months to remove professionally, since they charge $30+ for gel polish removal. Establishment is very bright fluorescent lights, it does not feel very welcoming at all, more like an institution.

Estrella is the best nail tech in Western Canada, hands down. If you need a hard gel manicure with the most precise cuticle care, she is the only person for the job. For context, I have lived in Calgary and Vancouver over the past few years and have come back to Kamloops so that Estrella can do my nails because she is that good.
