Some staff here are decent, but others have no business working in mental health. Security would instigate fights with vulnerable patients. A Black female nurse with colorful hair was telling a patient to harm another patient. Some female staff flirt with patients and spread gossip. This place felt more toxic than therapeutic.

The lady Tracey … that answers at the front desk, will not allow you to speak. Over talks every time you try and get a syllable out and only hears half of what you’re saying. My recovery started here. Wonderful place. I came in with nothing but a hat and a dead cellphone, wearing only hospital paper clothes. The techs made sure I had clothes and shoes when they took me home and they helped me with a 30 day supply of medicine. I learned a lot in group therapy and they made it fun. Thanks Pinewoods, from the bottom of my heart.
