They were laughing and joking when we walked in for our emergency crisis, knew they couldn’t accept him due to his lack of insurance, then sent him by ambulance to the hospital which only discharged him hours later! If they can’t run a professional business and get the staff replaced they need to close! They were rude with me the entire time and while I tried to stay calm I made sure they knew laughing in front of someone in a crisis situation was unprofessional!
Brought in against will for despiteful reasons and was treated as if I had mental issues and put in waiting rooms with people that had severe issues. I heard everything these people had going on mentally, one girl was talking to a nurse in another room about something she did to a dog, I mean absurd and HIPAA violations for sure. Some staff here are decent, but others have no business working in mental health. Security would instigate fights with vulnerable patients. A Black female nurse with colorful hair was telling a patient to harm another patient. Some female staff flirt with patients and spread gossip. This place felt more toxic than therapeutic.
Kyia W A case worker at Pinewood went above and beyond the call of duty to help with a new patient , my friend George . Her efforts secured placement for George in a program that will get him headed in right direction. Her efforts might of saved his life.
If I could give 0 stars, I would; especially for the case manager named Yasmin. She's a prime example of why not everyone needs to be in social work or health care. I brought a loved one through a court order to try and get her help. I had concerns I wished to address but was dismissed by Yasmin and given the run around by everyone else.
