Bait and switch tactics. This place was called Pointe Vista when we moved in now is called Serra 900. I looked up the sale history it was sold by Orsett Pineview and bought by Orsett Acquisitions LLC so they say it's under new ownership so yes technically they're correct because on paper it is, but it's still owned by the same people. The property managers Pan American Properties is horrible and I highly encourage you to Google and Yelp them to look at their reviews. I believe this company DOES NOT adhere to state or federal fair housing laws by passively but actively implement discretionary discrimination in housing based on our disability status with our ongoing issue. After leaving this review, a complaint will be filed with the BBB and California Attorney General's office. The property we signed a lease with back in February of 2025 is currently undergoing remodeling and rebranding of all their community. Really pleased with the new management. The new renovations are great as well. Very pleased!
The complex has a very low quality of living. The train is constant every 15 minutes honking its horn. The freight train shakes the windows. The walls have cracks. Trash everywhere rats that chew through engine wires. I can go on but to save the ranting I'll end with our apartment being flooded 2X per week for the last month+ and management company PanINC not doing anything about it. Do not sign a lease here there are many more affordable apartments with higher standards as seen with this complex and their 1.4 Stars. 😞
New owners hired Pan American Properties to manage the complex and they are the worst management company I’ve ever seen. They are no better than slumlords, evicting all the tenants five at a time to double the rent. They are impossible to contact. They’ve issued multiple memos that mysteriously appear on our doors. Each memo provides a different phone number or email, none of which they respond to at any point.
