I came to Pine Rest seeking help for anxiety and depression, hoping for comprehensive, compassionate support. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and frustrating from the start. I scheduled an appointment as usual, but before my scheduled time, Pine Rest called and left a voicemail stating my provider would no longer be available for the scheduled time. No big deal. However, about a week later, I received a letter stating I was being discharged for “missed appointments”—even though they were the ones who canceled on me.
