Very short 5 min walk, beautiful, windy. Nice place to sit at the end.
Beautiful spot near Great Lake! This is my second visit and it’s always stunning. The lake is crystal clear, the walk is short and easy, and the surroundings are amazing. Usually a bit chilly, so bring a jacket. Perfect stop if you’re driving between Hobart and Launceston.

The most gloriously tranquil, magical and ancient sensation. Winding boardwalk balanced on boulders takes you across many ecosystems, through the pencil pine grove and down to the lake shore. The sense of silence is absolute and eerie, in a pleasant way. Can be very chilly, obviously.
