I absolutely adore this Office! From the girls up at the front desk to my actual appointment with Rachel Keranen, everyone was so kind, helpful, and patient with me. The office environment is really peaceful and very welcoming. They’ve been the biggest help on my mental health journey. I highly recommend them. 🥰
In the beginning of my time here I expressed I didn’t want any medication that had heavy side effects or withdrawals. And than was proceeded to be put on a very heavy SNRI. My practitioner didn’t provide any further context other than it’ll make me “more motivated.” I did my own research and brought it up saying it seems like a difficult medication to get off. I have only great things to say about the staff and providers at Pima Behavioral Health. Jonathan Resille has been very helpful, professional, and informative at every step. As someone who has always been hesitant to start treatment / medication, Jon made the whole process very clear and helped me get back on track. I am very glad I was referred to them!
So I have been going to Pima for over a year. Its a quiet, calm atmosphere. The people are nice and have never made me feel like I didnt want to be there. Adam is who I see, hes always been fantastic and hes always so willing to help. He tries to meet me where I am and let's me drive the car in my own care. He has ideas in things I can try to do to better my situation but never makes me feel judged if thats not something I want to do. This place is amazing. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful when I call, Which means the world to me. Rachel Keranen has absolutely changed my life for the best. I have never had a psychiatrist make me feel so seen, I feel like I actually matter to her. It has been a very rough journey to get here and I’m so thankful Rachel was there to help me and find the right medications to improve my life and well-being. Forever thankful for where I am now thanks to the amazing staff here.
