RecommendedWhat a unique idea to have a restaurant where you can watch private planes take off and land. The place is filled with airplane memorabilia and is definitely kid friendly. The food was not bad either.

I’m really wishing I could give this place a better review, however I’m still completely shocked with my experience I had last evening. My fiancé and I are from Wisconsin, and were traveling through Illinois - we were looking for a bite to eat and found Pilot Pete’s and saw all of the amazing reviews. We get there and got seated right away. Our server came to the table, took our drink order, brought us our drinks, and then disappeared for awhile.
