The gentleman that did the inspection was nice and professional. However, several things were missed that resulted in thousands of dollars in repairs after purchase. First, the chimney was completely unusable and unsafe. The wash crown at the top was in pieces. After months of communication, the owner came to our house, looked up the chimney, and said "I don't see anything but I'll check the pictures." and advised me that they do not have to inspect the chimney if the roof looks dangerous.
